Cázares: el título de Iván Calderón 'es mío'

SAN JUAN (AP) - El púgil mexicano Hugo Cázares arribará el jueves a Puerto Rico, donde buscará reconquistar el campeonato mundial junior mosca de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo.

Cázares se enfrentará en revancha con el puertorriqueño Iván Calderón (31-0, seis nocauts), quien lo destronó el año pasado en el mismo coliseo donde se encontrarán el 30 de agosto.

"Voy a Puerto Rico en mi mejor condición, a traer ese título que es mío y lo presté por un año. Van a ver a un Hugo Cázares en su mejor condición", expresó Cázares (26-4-1, 19 nocauts) en un comunicado enviado por la promotora Puerto Rico Best Boxing.

El viernes, ambos boxeadores participarán del último prepesaje para su choque. En el mismo, los púgiles no deberán pesar más del 5% por encima de las 108 libras (49 kilos) exigidas para el pesaje oficial. Es decir, no deberán pesar más de 113,4 libras (51,44 kilos).

El sábado, Cázares y Calderón participarán de un entrenamiento público en un centro comercial de Bayamón, ciudad contigua a San Juan.
